Details

Documents to be produced the time of interview:

1 .Degree Certificate in original (Qualification prescribed for the post) with a copy
2.TCMC/ MCI Registration Certificate
3 .Matriculation Certificate in support of Date Of Birth
4.Experience Certificate in original
5.Caste Certificate in original with a copy
6.The SC/ST/OBC Certificates in original produced, should be as applicable for appointments to posts under Govt. of India and should be signed by a Revenue authority not below the rank of Tahsildar and should contain “Non creamy layer” certificate in respect of OBCs.
7.The eligibility for the walk-in-interview with regard to educational qualifications, medical council registration, experience certificate, community certificate etc. will be determined as on date of interview strictly based on the documents submitted by the candidate. In case of selection, candidates are required to execute a security deposit ofRs. 15000/- which is refundable at the time of completion Of contract. The selection is purely on contract basis and can be terminated by either party by giving a one month notice to other.

General Instructions to the candidates:

I. The recruitment is only for reservation category candidates and others need not to apply for the said posts. Also candidates who have already completed Senior Residency for 3 yrs are not eligible again for Senior Resident post, I yr or 3 yrs.
2. Those who belong to SC/ST/OBC category should produce valid caste certificate issued by the TahsiIdar/Revenue Divisional Officer. OBC certificate must be as prescribed vide DOPT, Govt of India 0M No. 36012/22/93-Estt.(SCT) dated 15.11.1993 which should certify that the candidate do not belong to anyone of the Creamy Layers.
3. PWD Candidates will be considered as per rules and suitability tojob.
4. Private practice Of any kind will not be allowed.
5. No TA/DA will be admissible for ‘Walk in interview’.
6. Vacancies indicated above may change as per actual requirement on the date of interview.
7. The position of reservation is interchangeable among specialities within each category. 8. Canvassing in any form shall be disqualification.

9. The posts are contractual and the contractual engagement may be terminated/discontinued by either side giving one month prior notice to this effect withput assigning any reason.
10. Hostel accommodation/quarters will not be provided.
11. In case of selection, the candidate has to enter into an agreement with Medical Superintendent, ESIC Hospital, Ezhukone, on Non-judicial stamp paper of RsIOO/-. Upon joining, the selected candidate has to submit a security deposit of Rs 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen thousand only) as Demand draft in favour of ‘ESIC Fund Account No. I ‘ payable at SBI, Keralapuram, which is refundable after successful completion of contract and production of ‘No dues certificate
Terms and Conditions Applicable to Part Time Contract Specialists:
I. Specialist shall be recruited for a period of 3 years with annual evaluation and term renewed every year based on satisfactory performance.
2. Private practice will not be allowed
3. Available on Call 24×7.
4. The specialist shall be responsible for all cases undergoing treatment under his supervision in his discipline.
5. He/She will be entitled for the leave @ 04 days for each month of work on pro-rata basis in a calendar year. In the event, the specialist prefers not to avail the leave, the same may be encashed to a maximum limit of 30 days/year. 6. The selected specialist must have a professional indemnity policy which should cover the period as desired by ESIC. The policy is meant to cover professional liability falling on them as a result of errors and omissions committed by them while rendering professional services. The minimum sum assured per annum should be Rs.30 lakhs for Anaesthesiologists, Cardiac Surgeon, Neuro Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons etc. (2) Rs.20 lakhs for General Surgeons, Gynaecologist, Obstetrician etc. (3) Rs. 10 lakhs for Physicians Dentists, Radiologists, Pathologists etc. A copy of the Insurance & Premium receipt must be submitted within 7 days from the date of engagement.
Terms and Conditions Applicable to Full Time Contract Specialists:
1. Period of contract will be one year from the date of joining.
2. Minimum working hours will be 16 per week (4 days x 4 hours per week)
3. He/She will not be entitled for any kind of leave or benefits.
4. Available on call 24×7 7 as he will be drawing emergency call charges.
5. The specialist shall be responsible for all cases undergoing treatment under his supervision in his discipline. 6. The selected specialist must have a professional indemnity policy which should cover the period as desired by ESIC. The policy is meant to cover professional liability falling on them as a result of errors and omissions committed by them while rendering professional services.
